- 1 pound fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 pinch dried tarragon
- salt and pepper to taste
I liked it. My mom thought that putting tarragon on asparagus is kind of a waste, because asparagus has such a strong taste on its own.
